In this part the candidate is first given a card with a question and some additional ideas, and is required to discuss the subject individually.

This part lasts for 1 minute.
In the exam, this would be repeated for the second candidate.
The final part is a discussion where the examiner asks a series of questions which both candidates discuss together.
